ART GYM Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

• Account: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account when you sign in with Google. We do not receive your Google password.
• Bookings: the details you enter when booking — name, phone/WhatsApp number, portfolio and social links, and your answers to an instructor's pre-session questions.
• Instructor applications: the profile information, artworks, links and payout details (bank account or InstaPay) instructors provide.
• Payments: our payment provider, Paymob, processes your card or wallet payment. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount and a transaction reference. We never receive or store full card numbers.
• Technical: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) and the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

3. What we use it for

To create and manage your account; to book, deliver, remind you about and, if needed, refund services; to send calendar invitations and Google Meet links; to grant access to course folders on Google Drive; to pay instructors; to verify instructors; to answer support requests; to keep the platform secure; and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

4. Who we share it with

• Instructors you book: your name, contact details, links and questionnaire answers, so they can prepare for and deliver your session.
• Students who book an instructor: the instructor's public profile and the meeting link.
• Google (Workspace, Calendar, Meet, Drive, Gmail): to send invitations and emails and to provide meeting links and course access. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.
• Paymob: to process payments and refunds.
• Firebase / Google Cloud: the infrastructure that hosts the site and stores its data (servers in the EU region).
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. How long we keep it

Account data while your account is active and for 12 months after; booking and payment records for the period required by Egyptian tax and accounting law; instructor payout records for the same period. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will keep only what the law requires.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to a use of it, by emailing artgym@bigcatanimation.com. We will respond within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

7. Cookies

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to make the site work, and Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used (IP addresses are anonymised). We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Children

ART GYM is intended for adults. Learners under 18 may use it only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version.
