ART GYM Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

ART GYM ("ART GYM", "we", "us") is an online platform operated by Big Cat Animation LLC (بيجكات انيميشن ش.ذ.م.م), a limited liability company registered in Egypt under commercial registration no. 43589 (Investment Commercial Registry, 6th of October) and tax registration no. 768-617-421, with its registered address at 27 Mohi El-Din Abou El-Ezz St., corner of Mosaddak St., Office 3, 2nd floor, Dokki, Giza, Egypt. 2. What ART GYM is

ART GYM is a marketplace that connects students with independent art instructors for paid one-to-one mentorship sessions, live online workshops, and access to recorded courses. Instructors are independent professionals, not employees of ART GYM or Big Cat Animation. ART GYM verifies instructors, handles booking and payment, and delivers the session links; the instructor delivers the teaching.

3. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to book a paid service. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done through it. Instructors must apply and be verified by ART GYM before their listings appear; ART GYM may decline or withdraw verification at its discretion.

4. Bookings and how services are delivered

• Mentorship sessions are booked for a specific date, time (Cairo time, shown alongside your local time) and duration. After payment you receive a Google Calendar invitation containing a Google Meet link, sent to the email of your Google account. The session takes place on that link at the booked time.
• Live workshops run on the schedule shown on the workshop page. After payment you receive calendar invitations with a Google Meet link for every session.
• Recorded courses are delivered as view-only access to a Google Drive folder, granted to your Google account email within minutes of payment. Access is personal to your account and may not be shared.
• A booking is confirmed only when payment is confirmed by our payment provider. Until then, a selected time slot is held for a short period and then released.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Paymob using Visa, Mastercard, Meeza and, where enabled, mobile wallets. ART GYM does not see or store your full card details. Charges appear on your statement as BIG CAT ANIMATION. ART GYM collects the full price, retains a platform fee, and pays the instructor their share according to our instructor terms.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy at artgym.net/refunds, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Your conduct

You agree to attend sessions on time, to treat instructors and other students with respect, and not to record, redistribute or resell any session, workshop or course material. Workshop and course materials remain the intellectual property of the instructor (or ART GYM where stated) and are licensed to you for personal learning only. Feedback given on your work is for your use; the work itself remains yours.

8. Instructor terms (summary)

Instructors set their own availability, prices and workshop schedules, and are responsible for delivering the service as listed. Instructors receive 80% of the price paid by the student; ART GYM retains 20% as its platform fee, out of which payment-processing costs are paid. Workshop earnings are paid out after the workshop ends, and mentorship earnings every three months for the sessions taught, to the payout details the instructor provides. Instructors who fail to attend booked sessions may lose verification. The full instructor terms are at artgym.net/teach.

9. Our responsibility

ART GYM provides the platform and the booking and payment service. We are not responsible for the content, quality or outcome of teaching provided by independent instructors, though we take complaints seriously and will act on them, including refunding under our policy. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Egyptian law.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Giza, Egypt. Consumers keep all rights granted by Egyptian consumer-protection law (Law No. 181 of 2018).
